Unique Spin on The 12 Days of Christmas!

Looking for a wow factor in Christmas cards check out this video showcasing the 12 days of Christmas created using the art of Kirigami. Kirigami is a variation of origami where the artist is allowed to make small cuts in the paper (from Japanese "kiru" = to cut, "kami" = paper). In origami, papercutting is frowned upon by the majority of modern folders, as techniques have advanced enough to make cutting unnecessary for a skilled folder.

  1. My boyfriend and also a friend of my daughter are really into origami. I wonder if they'd like to try their hand at kirigami? I'm going to pass this along to them! It's such a unique artform!
