Welcome to the World Baby Kevin
I'm so excited to announce our grandson, Kevin Chase Hicks, finally made his debut this morning at 2:39 am weighing in at a whopping 8lbs 12oz and 21 inches in length. After 18 1/2 hours of labor and 2 1/2 hours of pushing Mom and baby are doing great!

our son Nicholas :-)

Incommunicado and Baby News
Wow! sorry I've been incommunicado, but blame it on good ole blogspot not letting me in! Its like they changed the locks and didn't give me a new key! Just try and get a real live person from blogspot that's a real joke! Anyhow, I am back in and have left the door ajar just in case LOL
On the grand baby news front, Tuesday we got to share a treasured moment seeing a 3D Sonogram of our grandchild to be, it's a boy! I had a feeling it was a boy, but since there are so many boys in the family I was hoping for a girl just so we girls weren't so out numbered LOL but that's okay we're well equipped for boys around here and I'm thrilled to pieces :-)

WOW!
It's really amazing how far the sonogram machines
have come since I had my youngest son 17 years
ago. I remember them not showing such a defined
picture as the one above. I just love this picture
Iwill have to think of something creative to
make with it!

First Official Picture!
I'm so excited, we have received our
first official grand baby picture!
Just in case you didn't know we're going to be
grandparents come April and we are thrilled
to pieces :-)
It's so doggone hard to resist buying baby
things, yet, but I'm resisting until we know
what sex it is. It seems like baby things are
much more gender specific then they were
17 years ago when I had my youngest son.
