Let me introduce you to Fleurita, The Flower Nymph. She prides herself on being quite the fashionista! I created Fleurita in honor of OTM's Art Muse Contest (click HERE to read more about the contest). I colored the manikin first with Color Mists then dried it with the heat gun. Little by little I glued flowers and torn off petals on to her. Once they were all adhered and dried I misted the flower petals with Color Mists as well and then while still WET I added the glitter just by sprinkling it over the wet petals. For her hat I used a wood finial that I was able to screw into her head. After I painted her face I sealed her with CI Super Seal (aka PYMII)Labels: art doll, art muse, artist manikin, Contest
