Congratulations Class of 2011

It was bittersweet last night as I watched my 

last one graduate from high school! It seemed 

like yesterday I was sitting at my oldest son's 

graduation how can it be that it was 11 years 

ago already!

My niece asked my son to make her a trophy for a cake off that she and her friends were having for their birthdays. Above is the end result!

He used circuit boards he cut and and then glued them together. Then added found bits and pieces of things we've collected in a box.

It looked pretty cool as is but then he added the paint and that's when it really all came together!

Pretty cool looking isn't it!?

10 lb Cake!

How can it be that my baby youngest is 16, it just doesn't seem possible! Here Morgan is with his 10 lb. cake! Yep, I said 10 lbs (he weighed it LOL). His cake request was that he wanted one that he could eat on for awhile. I put everything, but the kitchen sink in it! It may not be one of the prettiest cakes I've made, but it sure does taste good!
