It's beginning to look like Halloween...

Worked on a couple ATBs for a holiday Round Robin I'm participating in.
The above block arrived to me painted purple-Halloween is the holiday chosen for this person's block.  I first sprayed the block with black spray webbing paint.  Then added the tart tin for the base and some images from Outside The MarginsDay of the Dead Collage sheet. Now it's ready to move on to the next person.

The above block is mine and my holiday of choice is Halloween too.  I was going for a haunted house kind of look.  I first mounted one of Outside The Margins' weathered ATB Blocks to a sardine can that I had painted with black gesso then sealed with PYMII.  For the peak of the roof I disassembled a fold up ruler and then laid the sections side by side and stapled them together with a heavy duty staple gun then nailed them into the block at the sides.   The image is another from OTM's Day of the Dead collage sheet.  It will be fun to see what the next person to adds to it.
